Grants are available where the condition of your home may cause health or safety issues or may improve your living conditions. If you meet specific criteria you may be eligible.

• Does your roof leak?
• Do you have heating? Is it working?
• Would insulation reduce heating costs?
• Are your windows secure?
• Is renovation required?
• Do you own your own home or rent property?
• Are you over 55 or vulnerable?
• Is your home in disrepair, in need of minor repairs or requires adaptation for a disability?

Free Insulation Grants

Cavity wall and loft insulation
You could be eligible for a Government Insulation Grant if you are over 60 and receiving a state pension. Those on certain benefits may also qualify, irrespective of age.

The Warm Front Scheme

The government has grant schemes to help people make their homes warmer, healthier and more energy efficient. If you own your home or rent it from a private landlord and receive certain income or disability related benefits you may qualify for a grant of up to £2500 towards insulation and heating improvements. Only one grant is available for each home.
