Help advice and assistance can be provided by Hyde Housing Associations specialist Housing Support Officers covering a wide range of housing related issues including Welfare Benefits, arrears of rent or mortgage, loss or at risk of losing a home, reporting/ arranging repairs, home safety and security, budgeting and billpaying , neighbour disputes, accessing housing related support services and community services, moving home and resettlement.

Please note that the service cannot include the direct provision of meals, personal care, ironing and laundry, shopping or collecting pensions/ benefits. It could however cover, for example, initial advice and assistance to enable an individual to shop for themselves, or advice regarding maintaining a tenancy / home in terms of cleaning and gardening.
