Kent Energy Centre is a countrywide initiative set up in conjunction with all the local authorities which aims to help people save energy, save money and help the environment by becoming more energy efficient in their day to day lives.
Energy efficiency is vital in tackling fuel poverty. Those in fuel poverty cannot afford to keep their houses warm; as a result, homes become cold and damp leading to health problems such as respiratory illness, coronary heart disease and stroke.
Working in partnership with local authorities, the Kent Energy Centre:
Provides Kent residents with a comprehensive energy efficient advice service
Helps Kent residents access grants and discounts available to them
There are several grant schemes available; to find out if you meet the eligible criteria call the freephone advice line above.
