Canterbury City Council are responsible for maintaining the appearance of the district's public areas and ensuring the safe disposal of its waste.  Our service includes:

• Maintaining 94% of the districts streets to an acceptable standard of cleanliness.
• Removing dumped rubbish and fly tipping from the highway within 24 hours of being informed.
• Responding on site to spillages on the highway within one hour of being informed.
• Emptying dog bins and litter bins daily (minimum).
• Removing shopping trolleys within three hours of being informed.
